JOIN ME IN HAMPTON IN ARDEN

Art Classes

Join me, Helen, in uncovering the joy of art through one of my personalised art classes.  Whether it be for a class within  a group setting in one of my workshops, or you are looking for personal tuition. Designed with both the budding artist and the seasoned creator in mind, each session is an intimate dive into the world of creativity, where I share my passion and techniques with you. It’s more than just learning to paint or draw; it’s about unlocking your own creative potential and finding your unique voice in a supportive and inspiring setting.

A Relaxed Introduction to Art

A Warm Welcome to Your Creative Journey

Hi, I’m Helen — a local artist who’s passionate about helping people discover the joy of painting and drawing.
Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or you’re just starting to explore your creative side, these sessions are designed to make you feel comfortable, confident, and inspired.

What We’ll Explore

Over six relaxed and friendly weekly sessions, we’ll cover:

No pressure, no experience needed — just a willingness to have a go and enjoy the process.

What You’ll Gain

By the end of the 6-week course, you’ll:

I believe everyone has creativity within them — sometimes it just needs a little encouragement to shine.
This is your space to explore, play, and surprise yourself. Let’s enjoy the journey together.

Terms & Conditions for Art Classes / Art Group with Helen

Classes are payable in advance, either as a 6-week course or as a monthly membership for the art group (covering 4 weeks). This helps me plan ahead and make sure I’ve got all the materials, biscuits, and creative energy ready for you!

Your payment covers all materials used in class, class handouts, demos, and guidance throughout each session. You just need to bring yourself (and maybe an apron if you’re a messy painter!).

Life happens—sometimes you’ll need to miss a session. Unfortunately, I’m unable to offer refunds or carry sessions forward, as I still need to cover venue hire, materials, and preparation time regardless of attendance. Think of it a bit like booking a seat at the theatre—if you can’t make it, the show must go on!

If you’re booked onto a particular group (e.g. afternoon or evening), I’ll do my best to offer a swap if there’s space in another session that week—but it’s not guaranteed. Let me know in advance and I’ll try to juggle the palette.

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a session (illness, emergency, artist’s hand-cramp) I’ll either offer a make-up session or adjust the next month’s payment accordingly.

We’re all here to enjoy a creative, friendly space. Please treat each other (and the art supplies!) with kindness and respect. I promise to do the same.

I’ll keep you updated by email or text about upcoming sessions, what to bring (if anything), and any changes. If you ever need to chat or have questions, just get in touch.
